IT HAS HAPPENED! People are buying art on the internet.
Which makes me very happy as I am an artist. I am
currently installing a number of my paintings on
Art-Smart.
The wonderful thing about the ART-SMART site is it's
ease of use. I haven't even finished installing my art
on the site and I am seeing hits already.
I have the pages almost finished and feel
confidant that I will be able to sell my paintings once
I have everything finished .
One of the things that convinced me was the fact that
art buyers can go to the site and put in the exact
color, size, & style of art they want. They will get
just the images they are looking for. That way they
don't have to spend ages going through art till they
find what they want. Once they input what they are
interested in, they will receive an e-mail each time
there is something new that they would want to see.

I brought
Eric Emannuel and his partners, (Back Street Boys, etc.)
to "Puffy's" Party for Notorious at The Limelight.
As usual,thousands showed up in the streets for the
Puff Daddy party.
I loved hearing Geraldo Valez (used to play with
Jimi Hendrix) & Nyles Rogers & Sheik perform.
Tito Puente's birthday party at Jimmy's in the
Bronx was a the most incredible night of all time.
Talk about legends on the stage---
Lionel Hampton was wheeled in and performed.
Bill Cosby, Jennifer Lopez, Issac Hayes, Tito Nieves,
and Mark Anthony.
I must mention another incredible evening was Charlene
and Jimmy Nederlanders 30th Anniversary Party at the
Rooftop of The St, Regis Hotel. They really outdid
themselves -- there were so many extraordinary people
there, Arlene Dahl, Muriel Siebert, Cy Coleman, Leonard Stern,
Lucille Roberts, Marty Richards, Howard Stern, Nickie Haskell
and on & on.
Bravos to my friend Allen Carr and his new
up-and-coming Broadway Show "Tom Sawyer."
